Subacute Thyroiditis on POCUS
Elderly male, malaise, low energy. Anterior neck pain, feeling very unwell 3/52. No goitre, tender anterior neck. POCUS provided clue to Dx of SUBACUTE THYROIDITIS. Thyroid edematous (loss of grainy texture, as hypo-echoic as muscle) and enlarged (compare to carotid)
