 • Infection: Extrapulmonary tuberculosis, Abscess, Endocarditis, Osteomyelitis / Discitis, Infected hardware, Infected thrombosis, (e.g. Lemierre's syndrome), Malaria, Brucellosis, Q fever, EBV, CMV
 • Malignancy:
    - Hematologic malignancies: Lymphoma, Leukemia, Multiple myeloma
    - Solid tumors: Renal cell carcinoma, Pancreatic adenocarcinoma, Hepatocellular carcinoma
 • Non-infectious Inflammatory Diseases (e.g. autoimmune): Lupus, Rheumatoid arthritis, Vasculitis (Temporal arteritis is prob the most common vasculitis to cause FUO), Sarcoidosis, Adult onset Still's disease, Familial Mediterranean fever
 • Miscellaneous: Drug fever, Factitious fever, Hypothalamic dysfunction, Castleman disease, Kikuchi disease, Idiopathic
