CPAP Troubleshooting Tips
1. Wrong size/style mask → try a different mask, nasal pillows
2. Trouble getting used to it → wear for short periods of time while awake, then with naps
3. Difficulty tolerating forced air → use device with "ramp" feature, or even BiPAP
4. Dry, stuffy nose → check fit, humidifier
5. Feeling claustrophobic → just hold mask up to face at first, then try straps
6. Leaky mask, skin irritation, pressure sores → adjust straps, try nasal pillow
7. Difficulty falling asleep → wear mask during day, try ramp feature
8. Dry mouth → chin strap to keep mouth closed, full-face-mask style, humidifier
9. Unintentionally removing device during the night → try full face mask, check fit, ? set alarm for middle of night to check
10. Bothersome noise → check air filter, device function
