Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) - Basics
Nomenclature:
 - Echogenicity = brightness
 - Hyperechoic = more echogenic (brighter) than surrounding tissue
 - Isoechoic = equal echo brightness to surrounding tissues
 - Hypoechoic = less echogenic (darker) than surrounding tissue
 - Anechoic = devoid of echoes (iet black)
Knobology - DAG:
 - DEPTH- can increase or decrease viewing depth. Always limit depth to center image if interest on screen
 - AXIS- moving the probe to center the image in the Y axis
 - GAIN- Contrast/Resolution/Brightness of image
