Indications for Albumin for Management of Cirrhosis • Large volume paracentesis (>5 liter) - 8g per liter of ascites removed • Acute kidney injury (≥ 1B) - 1 g/kg for 2 days (max 100g/day) with general measures • Spontaneous Bacteria Peritonitis - 1.5g/kg 1st day, 1g/kg 3rd day with antibiotics • Hepatorenal syndrome - 1g/kg for 2 days then 20-40 g/day with terlipressin #Albumin #Indications #Management #Cirrhosis #treatment #hepatology
