Ischemic Colitis on Colonoscopy
80 F with Afib with acute abdominal pain and syncope.
Ischemic colitis (full thickness) due to massive fecal rectal impaction. After manual/endoscopic disimpaction, the mucosa appeared this way for all I could see. I retreated. Outcome was poor. The black dots are thrombi of arterioles.
