Segmental Testicular Infarction on Scrotal POCUS
Patient with severe left scrotal/testicular pain. Diagnosis? What are causes? This patient had recent surgery.
Answer: Segmental Testicular Infarction. Causes: Vasculitis, orchitis, trauma, pelvic surgery (in this case patient had recent herniorrhaphy). Note the hypoechoic areas within the testicle and areas with absence of flow.
