Severe Aortic Valve Calcifications on Echocardiogram (PLAX)

42 yo woman, an extraordinary etiology of severe AS.  A hemodialysis patient with accompanying idiopathic thrombocytopenia. NYHA-4 heart failure status with LV and RV dysfunction. She underwent AVR surgery, but passed away during the surgery. The mass with clear acoustic shadowing on echo was also reported as bulky, pathological calcification.
