Prominent, Thickened Gastric Mucosal Folds on POCUS POCUS for upper abdominal pain episodes to look for gallstones. No gallstones, GB appeared normal. However severely thickened gastric mucosal folds - referred for biopsy (normal labs including albumin and lipase). drshukla14 @DrShukla14 Commentary: I’m going to stick my neck out here and say I think it’s normal! The layers are nicely preserved. Slim patient so you are seeing lots of detail. Give 500ml of water to drink and those walls will stretch out and look thin.
