Safe Living After Transplant: Respiratory hygiene / respiratory infection prevention
 • Wear a mask when around others and with high-risk activities  (e.g. gardening)
 • Avoid sick contacts & crowded areas as able (e.g. shopping malls, subways)
 • Avoid visiting areas with increased risk of exposure to Tuberculosis (prisons, homeless shelters, etc...)
 • Avoid construction sites, caves, barns, bird cages/coops, soil aerosols (mulching). Risk of exposure to fungal spores Aspergillus, Histoplasma, Cryptococcus
 • Avoid smoking - Caution with marijuana smoking/vaping given risk of Aspergillus (& potentially other fungi or GNR)
