Pulsating Neck AV Fistula on Physical Exam
40 year old female patient, prior history of CKD on PD, she refers having had the following finding for the past 19 years. Patient was otherwise asymptomatic and denied any prior neck trauma or surgical interventions (including CVC placement).

Typically AV fistulas are iatrogenic. If there is no history of cannulation of the neck vessels then could be congenital. There are some reports of congenital AVFs in the neck.
