On new year’s eve I give you the fireworks of b-lines from miliary TB linear probe. Due to the distinct multiple sub-pleaural lesions from miliary TB the B-line pattern is distinctly different from pulmonary edema. Single foci are seen with “exploding” b-lines rather than multiple vertical lines. Captured wonderfully with the linear, high frequency transducer. An important distinguishing feature, especially in developing clinical environments.
