 • Highly contagious, secondary attack rate 80% in susceptible individuals!
 • Recommended for household & close contacts, regardless of vaccination status!
 • Exposure to symptomatic patient in the first 3 wks of illness
     - Face-to-face exposure within 3 feet
     - Direct contact w/ respiratory, nasal, or oral secretions
Azithromycin - 500mg PO D1 → 250mg PO x4d OR
TMP-SMX - 1 DS tab PO BID x14d
