Definition: An absolute eosinophil count (AEC) greater than 1500 and clinical manifestations attributable to eosinophilia or confirmed tissue eosinophilia with blood eosinophilia
Secondary Causes:
 - Allergic disorders
 - Drug hypersensitivity
 - Infection: helminthic, fungal
 - Malignancy
 - Immunologic disorders
HES Types:
 - Myeloproliferative HES
 - Lymphocytic HES
 - HES Undetermined Significance
