Ovarian cyst rupture on Transabdominal Pelvic Ultrasound A 20yo female presents with acute onset abdominal pain. While it is possible to have free fluid in the pelvis in the setting of appendicitis and PID, it is more commonly seen in the setting of ovarian cyst rupture, and lack of free fluid makes ovarian cyst rupture unlikely.
