Linear probe is placed on anterior neck at the level of the thyroid. Hyperechoic arch=air-mucosal surface of trachea.
Images show successful endotracheal intubation, supported by movement @ trachea/arch from ETT contact. If esophageal intubation, you would see a 2nd hyperechoic arch, “double tract sign"
