Tonsillitis on POCUS

An enlarged tonsil (typical size: just >1cm) is being viewed with power doppler. Enlarged homogeneous tonsil >2 cm with diffuse hyperemia (indicating inflammation) supports the diagnosis of peritonsillar cellulitis
