Osteomyelitis / Septic Arthritis on POCUS A diabetic adult presents with pain and fever at this site. The hyperechoic stripe with posterior acoustic enhancement represents bone, with overlying effusion and tendon. While bone typically has a smooth surface, this bone has cortical erosions.
