Eichhoff's Test in de Quervain's Tenosynovitis

The Eichhoff test is used to assess for de Quervain's tenosynovitis, which is a condition that causes pain and swelling in the thumb and wrist. To perform the Eichhoff test, the patient bends their thumb towards their palm and wraps their fingers around it. The patient then rotates the wrist to cause ulnar deviation. If the patient experiences pain in the thumb and wrist, this is indicative of de Quervain's tenosynovitis.
