Ulnar Fovea Sign Test for Fovea Disruption

Useful for patients with pain along the ulnar aspect of the wrist.
The patient faces the examiner with the elbow on a table. The elbow is in 90°-110° of flexion with the wrist in the neutral position. The therapist presses deep into the space beyond the ulnar styloid process.
The test is positive if pain is elicited with palpation, indicating foveal disruption or ulnotriquetral ligament injuries
