Morton's Neuroma: Painful swelling of the nerves that run between the metatarsals. Pain is usually 
intense, worse with weight bearing, and focussed in the MT region ( most commonly 
between the second and third MTs) . While in the picture above there is obvious swelling of the soft tissues 
overlying the MT region, most cases of Morton's Neuroma cause pain without swelling.
