Anti-C. Difficile - Antibiotics Class Overview
 1. Metronidazole – (see anti-anaerobe section above for more details).  First-line therapy for first or second episode of mild-moderate C.difficile infection (defined as WBC <15 k, no acute renal failure).
 2. Oral Vancomycin – first-line therapy for severe C.diff infection (WBC >15k, or acute renal failure).
 3. Fidaxomicin (PO)
