The diagonal crease in the lobe of the ear (Frank's sign) is a sign theoretically related to coronary artery disease. The literature published on this association is extensive. In a study published in "Medicina" (Buenos Aires), S Lamot et al. found a significant relationship between the presence of the diagonal groove and coronary disease and suggested that this sign could be useful in clinical practice, mainly in patients between 30 and 60 years.
