Osborn (J Wave)

Etiology 
• Hypothermia (below 320C / SOOF) 
• Normal variant 
• Hypercalcemia 
• Neurological insult 
• Medications 
• Ventricular fibrillation 
Clinical 
• Most prominent in the precordial leads 
• Size of wave correlates with degree of hypothermia 
• Usually resolves with warming 
• No prognostic value
