Sarcoidosis In this case the chest x-ray shows subtle findings that could be described as fine reticulation. In many cases a HRCT is needed to determine the exact nature of the findings. The HRCT - not shown - demonstrated a fine nodular appearance as a result of sarcoidosis. Notice the subtle irregular thickening of the minor fissure.
