ISSVA classification of Vascular Anomalies - A Simple Guide

Additional Radiology Reporting Tips 
• Hemangiomas are not usually seen in adults, so think twice before reporting. 
• Use the term "venolymphatic" sparingly. Most malformations are usually one or the other. 
• Fluid-fluid levels can be seen with either VM or LM. Phleboliths are pathognomonic for VM. 
• Look at derm photos for comparison, can even state this in Comparison section of report.
