There are 5 SNRI's approved in the US! Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors are commonly used antidepressants, but can be used for other indications besides major depressive disorder. One common purpose of these medications seen in outpatient clinics is for treatment of neuropathy. Remember to monitor patients blood pressure too if they have hypertension due to the effects of norepinephrine.
