Mavyret (glecaprevir/pibrentasvir) Mavyret is a combination tablet that is now commonly used to treat and cure many patients with HCV! It's a combination tablet that is taken as 3 tablets by mouth once daily. The great thing and one reason why it is being so commonly utilized is that it is PANGENOTYPIC meaning it'll cover all 6 main HCV genotypes. For some patients only 8 weeks of therapy is needed, but treatment course may be longer for certain genotypes, if patients have a history of prior treatment, or complications such as cirrhosis.
