Beaver Tail Liver - Enlarged Left Lobe of the Liver on POCUS
LUQ trauma case. Rollover MVC with soft vitals. Has abdominal pain-left sided. Has no free fluid but what are you thoughts on perisplenic window?
In the sub diaphragmatic region there is a different echo appearance. ?Subcapsular hematoma/splenic injury.
Note presence of Doppler flow and look closely at the appearance of the area--looks like liver parenchyma. Is an enlarged left lobe of liver. Don't confuse this will a splenic injury.
