Primary Syphilis
 • Localized lymphadenopathy
 • Chancres
Secondary Syphilis
 • Headaches
 • Uveitis, retinitis, optic neuritis, cranial nerve palsies
 • Hepatitis
 • Lymphadenopathy
 • Glomerulonephritis
 • Periostitis
Tertiary Syphilis
 • Neurosyphilis (NS) if CSF shows:
    - Pleiocytosis > 20 cells/mm3
    - Hyperproteinorachia
    - Positive VDRL (Se 30-40%)
    - Negative treponemal tests rule out NS
 • General paresis :
    - Cognitive impairment
    - Psychiatric manifestations
    - Focal deficits
 • Tabes dorsalis
 • Aortic aneurysms ± valvular insufficiency
 • Coronary ostium stenosis
