Retinal vs Choroid Detachment - Head CT Comparison and Diagnosis

RETINAL DETACHMENT
 - Reduced visual acuity, flashes, floaters, visual field loss
 - Trauma, Tractional (i.e. diabetic retinopathy), exudative (i.e. Coats disease)
 - Limited anteriorly by ora serrata
 - Converges on optic disc
CHOROID DETACHMENT
 - Dull to severe pain.
 - Serous (i.e inflammation), hemorrhagic.
 - NOT limited by ora serrata 
 - Diverges from optic disc
