Grade 0, normal intact meniscus; Grade I, intrasubstance globular-appearing signal not extending to the articular surface; Grade II, linear increased signal patterns not extending to the articular surface; Grade III, abnormal signal intersects the superior and/or inferior articular surface of the meniscus, an arthroscopically confirmable tear. Red arrows indicate tear location.
