Parkinson's Disease Tremor
The tremor of Parkinson's disease is characteristic. It is called resting tremor, that is, it is more evident when the patient's hand is still, either at rest when the patient is sitting, or when he is standing with his arms relaxed.
When the patient performs some movement, the tendency of the tremor is to decrease or even disappear. In addition, characteristically the tremor is asymmetrical, that is, it is more evident on only one side of the body and over time it can affect the other side.
