Ruptured Tubal Ectopic Pregnancy on Pelvic Ultrasound Young female. Lower abdominal pain/VB. UCG pos. Soft vitals. Diagnosis/differential? Pelvis Sag See thread. Answer: Pt has IUD present. Has LARGE amount of clotted blood surrounding the uterus and in pelvis. Don't assume that acute hemorrhage is anechoic. Easy to miss clotted blood that is relatively isoechoic to surrounding structures. Patient had ruptured left tubal ectopic--OR.
