Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) and C-reactive Protein (CRP)
Here is a graphic on ESR and CRP. What can cause an ESR elevation with a normal CRP? Think Normal variation in elderly female, paraprotein, or active SLE (CRP elevation does not always correlate to disease activity).
