Awake Proning Instructions for Patients

Try to avoid lying flat on your back, instead lay on your stomach and side.
This can help your body get more air into your lungs. Change your position every 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on your comfort.
Please note that sitting up is better than lying on your back.
Below is the recommended lying sequence.
