Thigh adductor reflex

Researched with the patient seated (also in the supine position) by tapping the adductor tendon with the interposition of the finger at the insertion close to the medial condyle of the femur.
The normal response is adduction of the ipsilateral limb (same side). When there is hyperreflexia you can observe a bilateral response (as in the video). This reflex is mediated by the internal obturator nerve and integrated in the medullary segments L2 to L4.
