Patellofemoral Syndrome - Pathogenesis and clinical findings
 • Anterior Knee Pain with possible symptoms of 'catching' of the patellofemoral joint
 • Squatting or kneeling worsens pain
 • Palpable grinding of patellofemoral joint (crepitus)
 • Secondary effusion (swelling), tenderness and loss of flexion
 • Xray malalignment or narrowing of patellofemoral joint with MRI effusion and chondral loss
