Metronidazole-Associated Encephalopathy - A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of the brain showed a symmetric, enhanced fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) signal in the dentate nuclei of the cerebellum (Panel A, arrow), a finding that is consistent with encephalopathy associated with metronidazole use.
