Indications for Parathyroidectomy in Primary Hyperparathyroidism
 • All patients with symptomatic PHPT
 • Serum calcium 1 mg/dL above upper limit of normal
 • Osteoporosis or fragility fracture
 • Age < 50 years
 • Evidence of renal involvement (nephrolithiasis or nephrocalcinosis, 24h urine calcium > 400 mg/dL with increased stone risk, impaired renal function GFR < 60mL/min)
