Aortic Dissection seen through a large left pleural effusion on POCUS

Aortic Dissection! Pro move- using the large left pleural effusion to visualize thoracic aorta (seen here with intraluminal flap)

Dr. Michael I. Prats @PratsEM

Spleen, diaphragm, and the aenechoic fluid seen in the chest cavity. The fluid is providing a sonic window into the DTA. An ecogenic linear structure is seen within the lumen of the aorta consistent with dissection.
Pro move with pro caveats - at great depth like this can be pretty susceptible to slice thickness/elevational resolution artifacts. If using this for a dissection nice to get an orthogonal view (dta in short via parasternal or even just rotating from the view you presented)
