Aortic Valve Endocarditis on POCUS Echocardiogram (PLAX) 50 yo female presents with fever & flu-like symptoms. A new murmur prompted w/u for endocarditis. Blood Cx grew staph lugdunensis. PSLA view with subtle aortic valve vegetation (mobile hyperechoic mass moving in & out of AOFT). Treat with early broad spectrum antibiotics & consider surgical intervention/valve replacement.
