⚕️The disorder affects around 7 million people in the United States alone and is usually diagnosed between ages 10 and 15.
⚕️In the UK, public screening for scoliosis is not provided and in the US two-thirds of states mandate or recommend scoliosis screening in schools.
⚕️Screening is quick, non-invasive, and can lead to successful treatment to prevent long-term #back #pain and other health problems.
⚕️Scoliosis can be treated using a number of different methods, with #bracing and #spinal #fusion #surgery being the most common.
