Here is a lymph node with florid follicular hyperplasia typical of HIV lymphadenitis (so-called "pattern A", seen in early phase HIV).

"Pattern A" in HIV Lymphadenitis 
Florid follicular hyperplasia (follicles often 
resemble animal crackers or continents!) 
Other common findings include: 
A. Follicle lysis 
B. Warthin-Finkeldey type giant cells 
C. Highly proliferative germinal centers 
D. Monocytoid B cells
