Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (TAPVR)

Here's the bedside Echo of an 8-week-old boy who presented to the ER with acute cyanosis and respiratory failure. He was born at term with no apparent issues until now. I've labeled the cardiac chambers.

Blood from the Lungs drains back to the Right Heart! (This causes ↑ strain). The only way any blood is getting over to the Left Heart is through a small ASD—keeping him alive! If you look closely you can see it.
