Central posterior synechiae (CPS) in the setting of tubulointerstitial nephritis and uveitis syndrome (TINU)- Central posterior synechiae (CPS) are adhesions between the iris at the pupillary margin and anterior lens capsule that can occur in settings of intraocular inflammation.
