Aortic and Mitral Valve Regurgitaton on Parasternal long axis (PLAX) Parasternal long axis (PLAX) is part of your basic cardiac POCUS eval. Throw some color doppler on there and you can get a lot more information. Here we initially thought just low ejection fraction, and with color we see major mitral and aortic regurgitation.
