Pulmonary Artery Clot seen on PSAX in Acute Saddle Pulmonary Embolism - Labeled Thrombus in Purple

Suspicious for PE? You can use #POCUS to evaluate for RV dilation, McConnell's sign, TAPSE, attenuated pulm artery acceleration time... but sometimes just looking at the pulmonary artery itself can do the trick. Large clot in right PA is seen here; this was a saddle PE.

Thought I'd add some color to this POCUS. Patient with saddle PE seen on the parasternal short axis of the PA. The actual thrombus is in purple.
