Cutaneous and Systemic Findings in Dermatomyositis
Cutaneous Findings:
 - Heliotrope sign and edema
 - Nail-fold changes
 - Photodistributed eruption
 - Poikiloderma and V-neck sign or shawl sign
 - Gottron's sign
 - Gottron's papules
 - Raynaud's phenomenon
 - Calcinosis cutis
 - Scalp erythema and scale
 - Holster sign
Systemic Findings:
 - Symmetric, inflammatory myopathy (Triceps and quadriceps usually affected first and may be tender)
 - Interstitial lung disease
 - Gastrointestinal - Dysphagia (upper esophagus), gastroesophageal reflux (lower esophagus) In children, vasculopathy of the GI tract
 - Cardiac disease
 - Arrhythmias
 - Inflammatory polyarthritis
