Restrictive Cardiomyopathy on Echocardiogram - Apical 4 Chamber View

RCM is a disease of diastole —> severe atrial dilatation due to restricted filling/relaxation of the ventricles. Few processes will give this degree of atrial enlargement w/ preservation of the ventricles. Though this case is late RCM as LV dysfunction present & RV dilating
Frequent mistake to avoid: atrial septum might look like asd in 4ch. An ASD with atria that big you would expect RV+++
